Disney Springs is one of the easiest date night wins at Walt Disney World. You don’t need to plan your whole evening around a park ticket, you have complimentary self-parking available, and you can go as casual or as fancy as your mood — and budget — allows. Disney Springs has a huge mix of restaurants, lounges, quick-service spots, shopping, and entertainment, which means dinner can be the whole event or just the delicious beginning of the night.
For adults, this is where Disney Springs really shines. You can have a slow wine-and-small-plates dinner, split seafood by the water, dress up for steak and cocktails, or wander from tapas to dessert like you’re on vacation even if you’re just popping over from your resort. The trick is choosing the restaurant that fits the kind of date night you actually want — because “romantic” at Disney Springs can mean intimate and quiet, but it can also mean lively, shareable, experiential, and fun.
Let’s dive into our opinion on the best Disney Springs restaurants for date night.
What Makes a Great Disney Springs Date Night Restaurant?
A great Disney Springs date night restaurant should give you more than just a decent meal. It should make the evening feel intentional. Now, that doesn’t mean it has to be the most expensive reservation on property, but it should have atmosphere, good drinks, food worth lingering over (maybe even plate-licking good?), and an easy way to keep the night going afterward.
For adults, the best date night restaurants at Disney Springs usually fall into one of a few categories: waterfront dining, stylish signature restaurants, shareable small plates, themed lounges, or high-energy spots where the room itself feels like part of the entertainment. Bonus points if you can grab a cocktail before dinner, stroll by the water after, or sneak in dessert without feeling like you need to be rolled back to the parking garage.
The other big factor is expectations. Disney Springs can be busy, loud, and very family-friendly, especially on the weekends or at peak seasons. It can still be romantic, but it does mean you should pick your restaurant carefully. A late reservation and a restaurant with a more adult-leaning atmosphere can make all the difference.
Our Favorites
Wine Bar George
Best for: wine lovers, small plates, relaxed-but-elevated dates
Wine Bar George is one of the best Disney Springs date night restaurants because it feels grown-up without feeling stiff. It has that rare Disney World quality where you can make it a full dinner, a pre-show glass of wine, or a “we weren’t going to order much but somehow we ordered five plates” kind of night.
The big draw, of course, is the wine. Wine Bar George offers more than 200 wines by the glass, bottle, and ounce, which makes it especially good for couples who like to try a little of everything instead of committing to one bottle right away. The menu also works beautifully for date night, with shareable dishes like house-made hummus, crispy mac and cheese bites, warm spiced olives, saganaki on fire, burrata, and other small plates that let you build your own pace.
This is the kind of place where the best move is not rushing. Order a couple of glasses, split a few plates, talk yourself into one more pour, and enjoy the fact that you are not speed-walking to a Lightning Lane. For a romantic but unfussy Disney Springs dinner, Wine Bar George is hard to beat.
Date night tip: Ask about wines by the ounce if you want to taste a few without turning the night into a full financial commitment. It is a great way to make dinner feel more like an experience.
The BOATHOUSE
Best for: waterfront views, seafood, steak, and classic date night energy
The BOATHOUSE is probably the safest “I want this to feel like a real date night” pick at Disney Springs. It has waterfront views, a polished-but-not-pretentious atmosphere, and a menu that works whether you are in the mood for seafood, steak, lobster rolls, burgers, cocktails, or a full raw bar moment. Disney describes it as waterfront dining with fresh fish, an exceptional raw bar, steak, chops, pasta, sandwiches, burgers, lobster rolls, and desserts.
This is also a strong choice when one person wants seafood and the other person absolutely does not. The menu has enough range that nobody has to fake enthusiasm over oysters just because it is date night. If you do want to lean into the seafood side, The BOATHOUSE dinner menu includes raw bar options, shrimp, lobster bisque, crab, tuna poke, and seafood boils, making it easy to go full coastal vacation mode.
The atmosphere is the real selling point. An outdoor table around sunset is the dream, but even without that, the restaurant has a buzzy, special-occasion feel. It is also easy to turn dinner into a full evening because you are already right along the water.
Restaurant heads up: Last time we had a reservation here, we showed up on time but ended up having to wait for a table nonetheless. I wouldn’t plan anything major after this reservation to allow for added wait time – better to be safe than sorry!
Date night tip: Build in time for a post-dinner stroll. The boardwalk area around The BOATHOUSE is one of the most naturally romantic spots at Disney Springs, especially once the lights start reflecting on the water.
Morimoto Asia
Best for: stylish atmosphere, sushi, cocktails, and impressive design
Morimoto Asia is a date night pick for couples who want dinner to feel a little dramatic. The restaurant is big, beautiful, and visually memorable, with a two-story interior, chandeliers, lounges, private dining spaces, exhibition kitchens, and a second-level sushi bar and lounge. Disney describes it as a modern Pan-Asian restaurant from Chef Masaharu Morimoto, with Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Malay, sushi, sashimi, Peking duck, dim sum, and other Asian-inspired dishes.
This is a great restaurant when you want a date night that feels more elevated but still fun. You can share sushi, order a few small plates, or make dinner feel like a full culinary tour. It is not necessarily the quietest restaurant at Disney Springs, but that works in its favor if your ideal date night is energetic, stylish, and a little more “night out” than “cozy corner.”
Morimoto Asia also works well for couples who enjoy ordering family-style. Instead of each person guarding their entrée like it’s a precious heirloom, you can split dishes, compare favorites, and try something you may not order at home.
Restaurant heads up: As mentioned, this spot can get rather noisy, especially if you’re seated on the main floor. I’ve found that the upstairs seating is a little more intimate, and you get a unique view of the rest of the restaurant below.
Date night tip: Consider making Morimoto the centerpiece of the night, then keep dessert simple afterward. A rich dinner here followed by a slow walk through The Landing is plenty.
Splurge idea: If you’re really in the mood to impress, book the Omakase Experience! Expert sushi chefs will create a 5-7 course menu with fresh fish and specialty ingredients, all in a one-of-a-kind setting.
Jaleo by José Andrés
Best for: tapas, sangria, adventurous eaters, and conversation-friendly dining
Jaleo is one of the best Disney Springs restaurants for couples because tapas are basically built for date night. Small plates keep the meal interactive, the atmosphere is colorful and lively, and the menu is made for sharing. Disney describes Jaleo as serving authentic Spanish tapas, paella, and sangria in a vibrant atmosphere, with plates designed to be shared.
This is a great option when you want dinner to feel playful. You are not just ordering one entrée and calling it a night. You’re browsing the menu together, picking a few things, adding one more because something smells amazing at the next table, and probably debating which dish won. Good food, open conversation, and a deep dive into each other’s flavor preferences: that’s exactly the kind of energy that makes a Disney Springs date night feel special.
Jaleo is especially good for food-focused couples who like bold flavors and a lively room. It may not be your best choice if you want a whisper-quiet dinner (trust us, it’s lively!), but for a fun, flavorful, adult-friendly evening, it absolutely belongs on the list.
Date night tip: Order in rounds instead of all at once. Start with a few tapas, see how hungry you are, and then decide whether to add paella, more small plates, or dessert.
Pro tip: If you like wine, a pitcher of Sangria is a really good deal. Better yet, if you’re an afternoon diner, you can enjoy their Sangria Hour and have some light bites before enjoying the rest of your day.
The Edison
Best for: dinner, cocktails, vintage atmosphere, and built-in entertainment
The Edison is a strong date night choice for couples who want their restaurant to come with a little extra personality. Disney describes it as a lavish, industrial gothic-style hotspot with classic American cuisine, craft cocktails, and unique entertainment.
This is less “quiet romantic dinner” and more “let’s have drinks somewhere cool.” The 1920s-inspired design, dramatic spaces, and entertainment-forward energy make it a good fit for couples who like a lively night out. It can be especially fun later in the evening, when you want cocktails and atmosphere more than a slow, traditional meal.
The Edison also works nicely as part of a progressive date night. You could eat dinner somewhere else, then stop here afterward for drinks and entertainment. That may actually be the sweet spot if you want to experience the vibe without making the entire date revolve around the menu.
Date night tip: Pair The Edison with Jaleo, Enzo’s Hideaway, or Morimoto Asia for a Landing-heavy evening where you can walk between stops without overplanning.
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’
Best for: comfort food, brunch dates, Southern cocktails, and casual-but-special dinners
Homecomin’ is not the most traditionally romantic restaurant at Disney Springs, but it is one of the most satisfying. This is the pick for couples who bond over fried chicken, biscuits, deviled eggs, and cocktails instead of tiny plates that require a glossary. Disney describes Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ as a restaurant and bar serving Southern-style cuisine and cocktails in Town Center.
This is also an excellent date brunch option. The brunch menu includes Southern-style starters, biscuits, fried chicken dishes, brunch plates, and cocktails like mimosas, sangria, and other morning-friendly drinks.
Homecomin’ is best when you want the date to feel warm, fun, and indulgent. It is not the place to go if you want to leave feeling light and elegant. It is the place to go if you want to split biscuits, order something fried, and happily accept that your next stop should probably be a (very) slow walk.
Date night tip: For adults, brunch at Homecomin’ followed by shopping and drinks can be just as good as a traditional dinner date.
Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar
Best for: themed cocktails, waterfront drinks, and casual date night snacks
Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar is not a full traditional date night restaurant, but it absolutely belongs in the conversation because it is one of the best Disney Springs lounges for adults. It has an adventurous aviation theme inspired by Indiana Jones’ pilot, waterfront seating, fun cocktails, beer flights, wine, and shareable snacks.
The lounge menu includes casual bites like pretzels, sliders, flatbreads, wings, bao buns, meatballs, and cocktails with names that lean into the theme.
This is a great first stop, last stop, or “we don’t want a huge dinner” stop. It feels Disney without being character-heavy, and the theming gives you something to notice and talk about without needing a full itinerary. It’s one of our must-do’s every time we visit Disney Springs!
Date night tip: Use Jock Lindsey’s as your pre-dinner drink before The BOATHOUSE, Wine Bar George, or Morimoto Asia.
Best Casual Disney Springs Date Night Restaurants
Not every date night needs to involve a reservation made 60 days in advance and a bill that makes you quietly recalculate your life choices. Disney Springs has plenty of casual spots that still feel fun for adults.
The Polite Pig is great for barbecue, bourbon, and a more relaxed meal. D-Luxe Burger is a good low-pressure option for burgers, hand-cut fries, shakes, and mobile ordering, especially if you want to eat quickly and spend the rest of the night wandering. Disney lists D-Luxe Burger as a quick-service restaurant with burgers, fries, beverages, and mobile order availability.
Raglan Road works well if you want a lively pub atmosphere, Irish food, drinks, and entertainment. Splitsville Dining Room is another solid casual option because you can pair food with bowling or simply enjoy the retro restaurant without bowling at all. For us, having a glass of beer or wine and pairing it with an easy shareable like edamame is a great starting destination.
These are not necessarily “romantic dinner” picks in the traditional sense, but they are excellent for couples who want the night to feel easy. Sometimes the best date night is not the fanciest one: sometimes it is burgers, drinks, and seeing your favorite sports teams on TV.

A Handful of Disney Springs Restaurant Date Night Ideas
If you’re looking for pure romance…
Start with dinner at Wine Bar George, linger over small plates and wine, then walk toward The Landing for waterfront views. End with something sweet from Amorette’s Patisserie or The Ganachery if the line is manageable. Amorette’s is Disney’s upscale French-style bakery at Disney Springs, while The Ganachery is known for its decadent chocolate creations.
If you’re looking to splurge…
Start with drinks at STK’s lounge or rooftop terrace, then settle in for an Omakase Experience at Morimoto Asia. Afterward, grab a nightcap at The Edison if you want to keep the dressed-up energy flowing.
All waterfront, please…
Book The BOATHOUSE around sunset, request outdoor seating if available, and keep the night slow. After dinner, walk the boardwalk, watch the Amphicars (or perhaps reserve one yourself), and enjoy the fact that you are not rushing to get anywhere.
My date loooooves food…
We got you. Make Jaleo your main meal. Order tapas in rounds or maybe spend the extra time to order a paella to share. Then, head to Wine Bar George after for a glass of sweet white or dessert wine. If you want to graze, this is the ideal arrangement.
The “I’m not looking for anything serious yet” vibe…
Start easy: grab D-Luxe Burger or The Polite Pig, wander some shops, and stop for dessert. If the date is going well, maybe finish the night with drinks at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar or Dockside Margaritas. Keep it low-key, flexible, and you’ll have a great time.
The Adulting WDW Take: The Best Disney Springs Restaurant for Date Night
If I had to pick one overall best Disney Springs restaurant for date night, I would probably choose Jaleo for the combination of atmosphere, wine, shareable food, and adult-friendly pacing. It feels special without trying too hard, which is exactly the sweet spot for a Disney date night.
That said, the “best” Disney Springs date night restaurant really depends on your couple personality. Want waterfront and seafood? The BOATHOUSE. Want dramatic design and sushi? Morimoto Asia. Want hidden speakeasy vibes? Enzo’s Hideaway. Want steak and a scene? STK.
The good news is that Disney Springs makes it easy to build a full evening around dinner. Make the reservation, wear the cute outfit, give yourself time to stroll, and maybe leave room for dessert. Your future cookie-sharing self will thank you.
